People often ask me, "Why sheep?"  I quickly recount the story of my grandfather being a dairy goat farmer when I was a child.  I remember going to the barn with him early in the morning to milk, "his girls".  I loved those mornings, just before sunrise when everything and everyone was still asleep. 

 

Well...when I was all grown up I began to think about raising goats myself.   Then...my fiber addicition kicked in high gear.  Sheep became the natural choice for someone like me who simply could not get enough of that fluffy fleece goondness.

 

Many years later I have a beautiful sheep flock.  I couldn't be happier!  I just look forward to the day I can take my grandbabies down to the barn to show them, "my girls". 

 

In the mean time...I would love to share my little piece of paradise with ewe.
