Wow...time is flying this spring. Last time we talked I was getting ready to go to the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. That was over two weeks ago. Yikes!!! Anyway, we've just finished with our own fiber festival in Kentucky. It was a beautiful weekend with tons of things to do. (Finally no rain!) I had the opportunity to meet many of you for the first time and spend some time catching up with old friends. We took part of our flock to the festival for a shearing demonstration. It always takes me a couple of days to recognize who is who without their wool. The fleeces, as usual, were beautiful and soft as a cloud. Many happy festival goers left with a giant bag of warm, freshly shorn Cormo. Everyone seemed very happy about their new purchase as they dreamed about what it would become. Today...more shearing at the farm. The mommas and babies didn't make the trip to the festival but they still need a little hair cut too. I will post pictures later today!
